How to use The Ninety-Nine

Use this page as a quick reference while serving. The goal is simple: claim responsibly, follow up faithfully, and keep the outreach record clear for your church team.

Open Map

1. Start on the map

The Map page shows addresses your church can work with. Use the search box to find an owner or street, use the status filter to narrow the list, and zoom or move the map to focus on a neighborhood.

  • Gray addresses are available.
  • Colored addresses show outreach progress.
  • Addresses claimed by another church are marked separately and are not available to claim.

2. Claim the address you plan to work

Select a marker or list row, then choose Claim. Claiming tells the team that you are responsible for that household so volunteers do not duplicate work.

If you claimed an address by mistake or cannot continue, choose Release so it becomes available again.

3. Update the status after each meaningful step

Claimed Contacted Replied / Contact Gospel Presented Joined Church Do Not Contact

Use the highest accurate status. If a household asks not to be contacted, update it to Do Not Contact right away and honor that request.

4. Use My Outreach as your workspace

My Outreach shows the addresses you have personally claimed. Use it to review your active work, update progress, add notes, and keep track of follow-up without searching the full map again.

5. Keep notes short and appropriate

Notes are for ministry coordination. Write only what your church needs to follow up well. Avoid sensitive personal, medical, financial, legal, or private details.

Helpful

Requested a follow-up call next week. Prefers evenings.

Avoid

Gossip, speculation, private family details, or anything unrelated to outreach care.

6. Serve with care

  • Be peaceful, courteous, and respectful at every household.
  • Do not pressure, argue, or repeatedly contact someone who is not interested.
  • Protect your login and log out on shared devices.
  • Ask your church administrator when a situation is unclear.
